EMMA HUELSMAN, 84, DIES TODAY - Mrs. Emma Huelsman, a native of Shasta, died early today [21 March 1947] in a local hospital. Before her death, she lived with her son, Charles Huelsman of Cottonwood, and her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Marx of Anderson. She lived in Shasta County all her life. [born 26 October 1862]

She leaves another son, Herman Huelsman of Montgomery Creek; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Leslie of Anderson; and five grandchildren:  Peggy Marie Huelsman, of Cottonwood, Armil Huelsman of Cottonwood, Albert Huelsman of the Hawaiian Islands, Charles Marx of Anderson, and Fred H. Marx of the Army, stationed at Fort Dix.

Services will be held at 1:30 Sunday in McDonald's Chapel with the Rev. Harold Johansen of Cottonwood officiating. Burial will be in the Igo Cemetery.
