Elk Camp

1859 January 31, 4th Class Post Office established as Elk Camp, Klamath, California, located along Elk Creek. Site now in Siskiyou County.

William Morton, First Postmaster.

1862 December 19, Post Office discontinued and service moved to Happy Camp.
