1897 February 8, 4th Class Post Office established as Cuba, Lassen, California.  A Western Pacific Railroad Station. located 5 1/2 miles south of Summit and 9 miles northwest of Purdy.

1903 December 11, James C. Riordan, Postmaster.

1903 December 12, San Francisco Call, Washingto D.C. Dec. 11 - Fourth Class Postmasters appointed:  California - James C. Ryordan, Cuba, Lassen County, vice H. G. Roberts, resigned.~

1907 June 29, Post Office discontinued and the service moved to Chilcoot, Plumas County.
